Teal and Blush Bedroom inspiration

I know it wasn't too long ago that I last decorated my bedroom, but I have fallen in love with the teal and blush interior style! As I work full time managing social media accounts and content creation in home decor, I'm always following and spotting trends, browsing Pinterest for inspiration.

I have ordered the paint, and will slowly get around to purchasing the other items but I just wanted to share with you how I will be transforming my bedroom from the grey and blush dream to the bright teal and blush style.

1. Graham and Brown – Jewel in the Crown

It honestly felt it took me an age to find the shade of Teal I wanted, I tried so many different paint brands like Dulux and Farrow and Ball before realising Graham and Brown also had a paint range. I ordered samples of Jewel in the crown, Tropical Escape and Tiru. I swatched all three, saw them in different lights and Jewel in the crown won! I am opting for two walls in Teal and two walls in white.

2. A3 Fashion Wall Art

I have played with the idea of wall art in my bedroom for a while, I have never had any wall art as I already have patterned walls, always wondered if it would look all too cluttered. Opting for solid colour wall means I can finally purchase A3 fashion prints to be hung in gold frames.

3. Indoor Plants

Indoor plants can freshen up a room, opting for real plants can help improve the air quality of the room but I have the worst skills at keeping them alive SO faux it is.

4. Blush Ottoman – The Mylia

As my bedroom previously used to be a dining room, I have no built-in storage so I have to find alternative storage solutions. Having a blush ottoman with storage means I have somewhere to store my shoes and no more fashion shots sat on the floor!

5. Teal Bed Throw

I love having a bed throw, extra warmth in winter and then it replaces the duvet in the summer (I can't sleep with some form of covering).

6. Dusty Pink bedding

The teal is such an intense colour I want to use the white walls and blush pink to brighten the room up. Too much teal can make a room look small and dark!

I cannot wait to get started!
